Garmin Officially Launches Venu 4 with Upgrade Features: What’s New?

Garmin has officially introduced the Venu 4, the next model in its Venu series. Building on the previous generation, this smartwatch features new health tracking insights, lifestyle logging, and advanced sleep metrics. The Venu 4 also debuts the Garmin Fitness Coach and comes with a stylish metal design, a built-in flashlight, and up to 12 days of battery life.

A New Level of Health Insights

The Venu 4 is equipped with several features designed to give you a more complete picture of your health. The new Health Status provides a snapshot of your body’s condition by monitoring trends in HRV, heart rate, respiration, and skin temperature. With Lifestyle Logging, you can see how your alcohol or caffeine intake affects your sleep, stress, and recovery. For a deeper understanding of your sleep patterns, the watch offers advanced metrics like Sleep Alignment and Consistency to help you stay in sync with your circadian rhythm.

Personalized Fitness and Training

A standout feature is the new Garmin Fitness Coach, which provides personalized workout plans for over 25 activities, including HIIT, rowing, and indoor cycling. If you don’t have a plan, the watch will suggest Daily Suggested Workouts based on your recent activity, recovery, and sleep. For multisport sessions, the Mixed Session Profiles feature lets you track multiple activities within a single workout file without stopping.

Accessible and Convenient Features

The Venu 4 offers several new smart features for a more convenient experience. With the Spoken Watch Face, you can hear the time, health data, and hourly alerts. Color filters are now available for those with color blindness, with options like grayscale, red/green, and blue/yellow. The watch also features an on-wrist LED flashlight, a microphone, and a speaker for taking calls, replying to messages, and using a voice assistant directly from your wrist.

Design and Pricing Details

The Venu 4 is available in two sizes, 41mm and 45mm, and comes in premium colorways like lunar gold with a light sand band. It features a vibrant AMOLED display and can be paired with either a leather or silicone band. With a battery life of up to 12 days, the Venu 4 starts at $549.99 and will be available on Garmin’s website starting September 22, 2025.
