Garmin has started sending out a brand new software update for the CIRQA Smart Band. This new release brings the device up to version 2.50. It is a stable update, meaning it is safe and ready for daily use.
What is New in Version 2.50
- Includes improvements to OHR.
The main focus of this release is improving the optical heart rate sensor. Users should notice more consistent health tracking throughout the day and better stability during active workouts.
While this is a minor update rather than a major upgrade, fine-tuning the heart rate sensor helps fix small bugs and ensures your daily fitness data stays as accurate as possible.
Slow Rollout for Users
Garmin is releasing this update in phases. Right now, only about 20% of CIRQA Smart Band owners can download it.
If you do not see the update on your device yet, do not worry. The company plans to make it available to more users over the coming days.
How to Get the Update
You can download version 2.50 in two simple ways. You can connect your band to a computer using Garmin Express, or you can sync your device wirelessly through the Garmin Connect Mobile app on your phone.
