Garmin Cirqa Smart Band Pro Possibly Appears in Global Regulatory Filings

If you follow my work here on the site, you know I can’t resist digging through global regulatory databases and app teardowns to spot unreleased fitness tech before it gets officially announced. Recently, while running my usual sweeps through global compliance filings, I picked up on a new, unannounced Garmin device carrying the model number A05191.

I actually first spotted this device sitting in Mexican homologation records, but naturally, I wanted to see if it had left a paper trail anywhere else. Sure enough, tracing it back through Asian regulatory filings revealed that it had already quietly cleared certification in Indonesia even earlier.

When you connect these certification filings with the Garmin Cirqa Smart Band Pro appears in Garmin Connect app code, this new model code looks like the exact hardware piece behind that software leak.

The Database Trail: Indonesia First, Then Mexico

Here is how the regulatory paper trail breaks down in order of registration.

1. The Indonesian Certification Entry

Before appearing in Latin America, model A05191 officially passed through Indonesia’s Sertifikasi database under PT GARMIN INDONESIA DISTRIBUTION.

Here are the official details from that filing:

  • Certificate Number: 123224/DJID/2026

  • Date of Issue: June 23, 2026

  • Applicant Name: PT GARMIN INDONESIA DISTRIBUTION

  • Device Category / Type: Fitness product

  • Brand: GARMIN

  • Model: A05191

  • Country of Origin: Taiwan

In Garmin’s regulatory classification system, labeling a device explicitly as a “Fitness product” is standard practice for fitness bands, heart rate tracking hardware, and activity monitors rather than full-fledged outdoor GPS smartwatches.

2. The Mexican Homologation Filing

After spotting the Indonesian entry, I searched Mexican regulatory filings to see if regional clearance was underway in North America—and found the same model code A05191 active in their system.

Here are the details from Mexico’s homologation filing:

  • Official Letter / Certificate No.: 00023559 CRT26-036732 S193290SOGAA026-00023559

  • Date of Issue: September 23, 2026

  • Holder of Certificate: MEX BUY SOLUTIONS, SA DE CV

  • Equipment Type: PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENT MONITOR

  • Brand: GARMIN

  • Model: A05191

  • Status: CURRENT

In Mexican regulatory databases, the category “Performance Measurement Monitor” strongly echoes how Garmin registers chest straps, biometric tracking bands, and wrist sensors prior to market release.

Connecting A05191 to the App Code Leak & Standard Cirqa

To understand why model A05191 is so important, we have to look back at the original Garmin Cirqa.

When I previously tracked down the real teardown and regulatory photos for the standard Cirqa hidden in Taiwan’s NCC database, it carried the official model number AA5192. The close relationship between AA5192 (the original Cirqa) and A05191 shows a virtually identical internal numbering scheme, placing both devices in the same hardware series.

This model match fits perfectly alongside the strings discovered in the Garmin Connect app code, where explicit references to the “Garmin Cirqa Smart Band Pro” first surfaced. Those app files revealed setup tutorials hinting at dual physical buttons and spoken audio feedback, features that would make complete sense for a “Pro” step-up version of Garmin’s minimalist fitness band.

What Comes Next?

Whenever a new Garmin model code passes through certification bodies on multiple continents—moving from Indonesian regulatory approvals in June to Mexican homologation in September—it typically means physical testing is complete and an official launch isn’t far off.

I’ll keep scouring the FCC, SIRIM, and upcoming Garmin Connect beta updates for any live photos, schematics, or additional specs on model A05191.
