Garmin Drops Quick Beta Update 7.15 for Fenix 9 Pro

Garmin has released another beta software patch for its high-end multisport watches. The new beta update, version 7.15, is now rolling out to users with the Fenix 9 Pro smartwatch.

This release follows close on the heels of the previous build, arriving just three days after Garmin launched beta version 7.14 to the same device line.

Note: The Beta software available for the Fenix 9 series will have the ECG feature and Dive features Disabled.

Map Loading Enhancements

A primary highlight of update 7.15 is improved performance for heavy mapping users. Garmin optimized how the watch handles cartography data, resulting in smoother map rendering and faster load times on devices carrying extensive local or international map sets.

Alipay Connection and Stability Fixes

The update addresses a specific connectivity bug affecting regional payment setups. Build 7.15 fixes an underlying issue that could cause failures or errors when attempting to bind or unbind an Alipay account on the watch.

Interface and Visual Refinements

Garmin also packed a series of general display tweaks into this build. The release includes miscellaneous visual polish to improve UI readability, refine menu text alignment, and enhance overall navigation across on-screen screens.

How to Install the Update

Fenix 9 Pro owners enrolled in Garmin’s Public Beta Program can manually download the update over Wi-Fi directly from the watch interface.

To pull down build 7.15:

  1. Press and hold the Menu button to open the main menu.

  2. Navigate to Settings.

  3. Select System.

  4. Open Software Update.

  5. Tap Check For Updates.
