Garmin is moving incredibly fast to keep its sports watches running smoothly. Just three days after launching beta version 17.30, the company is already rolling out another software update. The new software, beta version 17.33, is now available for the Forerunner 970 and Forerunner 570 smartwatches. The quick turnaround shows that Garmin’s team is working hard to fix tech issues immediately after testers find them.
What is New in This Update?
• Various bug fixes and improvements.
The official details for this update are short, but the changes are very important for watch performance. Garmin says this version focuses on fixing bugs and making general improvements. In plain English, this means the update is designed to stop the watches from freezing, crashing, or draining the battery too fast during workouts. When a company drops an update this quickly, it usually means they are fixing small glitches that the previous update accidentally caused. This keeps the watch screens responsive and ensures your exercise data tracks accurately.
How to Download It Now
If you do not want to wait for the automatic download, you can install the new software manually today. Just press the main button on your watch and go to your Settings menu. From there, click on System, choose Software Update, and select Check For Updates. Your watch will handle the rest and install the fixes right away.
