Garmin is moving fast. Just four days after launching beta version 22.32, the company is already pushing out another fresh update for its premium smartwatch lineup.
The new software, Beta Version 22.34, is now rolling out to several high-end models, including:
-
Fenix 8 and Fenix 8 Pro
-
Fenix E
-
Enduro 3
-
Tactix 8
-
Quatix 8
Note:Â The Beta software available for the Fenix 8 series will have the ECG feature and Dive features disabled.
What’s New?
- Various bug fixes and improvements.
While it is exciting to get a new update so quickly, don’t expect any massive changes or flashy new features this time around. Garmin’s official release notes show that this is a minor cleanup update.
Behind the scenes, the company is focusing entirely on making the watches run better. The update is packed with small bug fixes that iron out the kinks from the previous version. It also includes general system improvements to help with overall battery life, screen responsiveness, and menu loading times. Essentially, Garmin wants to make sure your expensive watch feels smooth, stable, and reliable before they add anything new.
How to Get the Update
If your watch is enrolled in Garmin’s Beta Program, you don’t have to wait for the automatic rollout. You can grab the download manually right now by following these simple steps:
Go to: Main Menu âž” Settings âž” System âž” Software Update âž” Check For Updates
