Garmin is sending out a brand new stable software update for its high-end smartwatches. The new software, known as version 22.39, is now rolling out to users who own the Fenix 8 Pro AMOLED and the Fenix 8 Pro MicroLED models.
What is Fixed in Version 22.39?
- Fixes possible battery drain.
- Fixes possible issues when doing voice calls.
This latest update is all about making the watches run smoother by tackling two main problems that users have been running into. First, it fixes an annoying bug that was causing the battery to drain much faster than normal, helping your watch stay powered up for longer adventures. Second, it cleans up the software behind the watch’s communication features, patching up some glitchy issues that were messing with the clarity and connection when making voice calls directly from your wrist.
How to Get the Update on Your Wrist
If your watch hasn’t updated automatically yet, you do not have to wait. You can easily grab the new software yourself by digging into the settings.
To download it manually: Open your watch’s Main Menu > go to Settings > scroll down to System > tap on Software Update > and select Check For Updates.
