Garmin Accidentally Leaks New CIRQA Fitness Tracker on Official Website

Garmin has accidentally revealed its next big device. The company briefly listed an unannounced fitness wristband called the Garmin CIRQA on one of its official support websites before quickly taking it down.

While the page is gone, the slip-up gave us a clear look at what this new health tracker can do.

An Accidental Website Appearance

GarminRumors first noticed the leak on Garmin’s Romanian support page. The CIRQA was listed in a section for devices that support a feature called “Garmin Health Status.”

Even though tech companies try to keep new products a secret, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about this device. Garmin recently registered the CIRQA name in both Europe and Canada, meaning a launch has been in the works for a while.

Advanced Sensors for Better Tracking

Because the tracker works with Garmin Health Status, we can guess exactly what kind of technology is packed inside. To use this feature, a device needs a heart rate tracker, a blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor, and a skin temperature sensor.

The CIRQA will likely use these tools to track how well you sleep, how your body recovers, and your breathing rates overnight. Rumors also suggest it might include an EDA sensor, which reads small changes in your skin to measure stress levels.

However, to keep the device small and affordable, Garmin skipped a built-in GPS module. If you want to track your exact route during an outdoor run or a bike ride, you will need to bring your smartphone along.

Who Is It For and When Can You Get It?

With these features, Garmin is aiming directly at other popular budget health trackers on the market. For example, it offers more health data than older trackers like the Polar Loop, which lacks blood oxygen and temperature sensors. Instead, it looks like a direct rival to the Fitbit Air.

Garmin has not officially announced a price or a release date for the CIRQA yet. But now that the device is showing up on the company’s own websites, an official announcement will likely happen very soon.
