Mystery Garmin Device Spotted in Database: Is This the Secret “Cirqa” Band?

A new, unreleased Garmin device has just leaked online. The team at WearableFans spotted the mystery gadget in Singapore’s IMDA regulatory database, where wireless electronics must register before going on sale.

The device is listed under the model number A0P3039. The official paperwork reveals some very interesting technical details that suggest Garmin is building a completely new type of fitness tracker to compete with brands like Whoop.

The Clues in the Filing

The most important part of this leak is what the device is missing. According to the database, the gadget has Bluetooth, but it lacks:

  • No GPS

  • No Wi-Fi

  • No ANT+ (Garmin’s standard tech for connecting to cycling sensors)

Garmin is famous for its GPS sports watches. A new wearable without GPS or Wi-Fi means this is definitely not a traditional smartwatch. Instead, it is a low-power accessory built to send simple health data straight to your smartphone.

Is This the Garmin “Cirqa”?

These specs match recent rumors about a secret Garmin project codenamed Cirqa.

Industry insiders believe the Cirqa will be a lightweight, screenless fitness and recovery band. A screenless tracker explains the database findings perfectly:

  1. No screen means less power: Without a display to show maps or messages, the device does not need fast Wi-Fi. Simple Bluetooth is enough to sync stats with the Garmin Connect app.

  2. Better for sleep and daily wear: Many users find large smartwatches too bulky for bed. A slim, screenless band would let people track their sleep and recovery data 24/7, even if they prefer to wear a traditional luxury watch on their wrist during the day.

When Will It Launch?

When a device appears in the IMDA database, it means the hardware is finished and ready for production. Garmin has not made an official announcement yet, but with model A0P3039 now out in the wild, we can expect a launch very soon.
