I Spotted More Unreleased Garmin Outdoor Devices: Are We Looking at the Fenix 9, Enduro 3, or MARQ 3?

A few days ago, I reported on two brand-new Garmin outdoor devices spotted in the Indonesian regulatory database under model numbers A05419 and A05420.

Now, I have more news. While keeping my eyes on global certification filings, I just spotted another batch of listings—this time in the South Korean Radio Research Agency (RRA) database.

On August 10, 2026, two Garmin devices passed certification in South Korea under model numbers A05418 and A05419.

The Overlapping Model Numbers: Connecting the Dots

When you put the Indonesian and South Korean listings side-by-side, a clear sequence begins to form:

• A05418 (Spotted in South Korea)

• A05419 (Spotted in both Indonesia and South Korea)

• A05420 (Spotted in Indonesia)

Seeing model number A05419 pop up across two different national certification systems confirms that these aren’t isolated test units. Garmin is preparing a whole line of related hardware for a global release.

Both listings explicitly label these items as low-power wireless data communication devices manufactured in Taiwan, which is standard for Garmin’s premium wearables.

Which Garmin Lineup Is This?

Garmin usually registers consecutive model numbers when a device comes in multiple physical sizes or display types (like Solar, AMOLED, or MIP options). Having three sequential numbers (A05418, A05419, and A05420) points to three main possibilities:

1. The Fenix 9 Series (Most Likely)

The Fenix lineup traditionally releases in three distinct case sizes: small (S), medium (Standard), and large (X). A trio of sequential model numbers strongly mirrors Garmin’s usual filing pattern for a new Fenix generation.

2. Enduro 4 or Instinct 4 Lineup

If this isn’t a flagship Fenix release, Garmin could be preparing the next generation of ultra-endurance watches, which may share similar internal hardware configurations or come in multiple sizes.

3. MARQ (Gen 3) Collection

Garmin’s luxury tool watch series also shares similar internal components with the high-end outdoor lines, though MARQ models typically launch with a wider variety of specialized editions.

What Happens Next?

Passing RRA and Indonesian certifications is usually one of the final legal hurdles a company faces before an official product announcement. Devices typically launch anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks after these public regulatory filings appear.
