Garmin has released a new bundle for its Tacx Neo 2T smart trainer aimed at cyclists who want an easy way to train indoors. By adding integrated Zwift hardware out of the box, the system eliminates much of the usual gear setup required to ride virtually.
Easy Setup for Indoor Cycling

The updated trainer comes pre-installed with the Zwift Cog, replacing the standard rear cassette. This design allows riders to attach almost any standard bicycle with 8- to 13-speed gears directly to the unit. Steering and shifting are managed electronically through a handlebar-mounted remote control called Zwift Click, which adjusts virtual gears without needing to change physical chainrings.
Realistic Ride Feel and In-Depth Data
To mimic real-world riding conditions, the Tacx Neo 2T dynamically alters resistance according to rider speed, weight, and slope gradient. It uses an internal vibration system to recreate different road surfaces, such as gravel or cobblestones, and includes side-to-side flex for natural movement. During a workout, sensors record power output and pedal cadence, sending metrics directly to apps like Zwift, Rouvy, and Garmin Connect.
Price and Launch Details
The Garmin Tacx Neo 2T Smart Trainer bundle with Zwift Cog and Click carries a retail price of $1,099. Official sales begin on August 21 through Garmin’s web store. Accessories like tilt simulators and motion plates remain available as separate additions.
