Garmin has started sending out a new software update for several watches in its Instinct lineup. Stable update version 15.18 is now available for the Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar, and Instinct E models. The patch focuses on fixing small bugs, speeding up the watch menus, and making daily tracking more reliable.
What changes in this update?

This update brings a handful of useful fixes for everyday workouts and outdoor trips. Hikers will now get better gear suggestions during their activities. Garmin also fixed a bug that caused the watch face to freeze or lag when scrolling through the glances list.
Fitness enthusiasts and runners get a few key fixes as well. When editing a Strength workout, the weight values will no longer show up wrong. Additionally, runners should no longer lose their pace tracking midway through interval workouts.
Glitch fixes and security improvements
The 15.18 patch fixes a few small visual bugs across the system. It fixes the dog pointer arrow in the DogTrack feature so it points in the right direction again. Connect IQ data fields will no longer be hidden on the screen, and watch face data won’t show up blank when using certain languages. Finally, Garmin included general security updates to keep the watches safe.
How to download software version 15.18
If your watch has not updated automatically, you can trigger the download manually through the watch menu. Open the Main Menu, scroll down and select Settings, go to System, tap Software Update, and select Check For Updates.
