It looks like Garmin is already preparing a big upgrade for its screen-free wearable lineup.
The folks over at Gadgets & Wearables just spotted a massive clue inside the latest Garmin Connect app code: direct mentions of a Garmin CIRQA Smart Band Pro.
Naturally, this got me curious. I started digging around regulatory databases to see if there were any real-world traces of new Garmin hardware—and I hit something interesting on Indonesia’s SDPPI (Sertifikasi) database.
Here is what is going on, what the code reveals, and how these two pieces of information might connect.
What the Garmin Connect Code Tells Us
According to the app teardown, references to the “CIRQA Smart Band Pro” appeared in both version 5.28.1 and 5.29 of Garmin Connect. Interestingly, the standard “CIRQA Smart Band“ is listed separately in the same tutorial strings, which means this isn’t just a typo for the original model that launched back in July.
The app code drops a few major hints about what makes the “Pro” version different:

Two Physical Buttons: The original CIRQA band only has one button. The new tutorial text repeatedly mentions pressing or holding “either button” to handle alarms and shortcuts, and explicitly distinguishes between an Activity Button and a Controls Button.

Audio Feedback & Spoken Stats: The code refers to adjusting volume levels using the side buttons and hearing daily stats or status confirmations out loud. This means the device could feature a tiny built-in speaker, a microphone, or enhanced audio syncing with connected headphones.

Navigation & Assistance: Users appear to be able to trigger assistance or check audio confirmations by holding the controls button until they hear a spoken prompt like “Canceled.”
Adding a second button and audio feedback would make a lot of sense for a “Pro” screenless tracker. It gives users a way to interact with their health data and workouts without adding a battery-draining screen.
The Mystery Device in Indonesian Certification
While checking recent regulatory filings to see if Garmin had submitted anything new, I came across a fresh listing published on September 10, 2026, in the Indonesian SDPPI database.

Could Model A05293 be the CIRQA Smart Band Pro?
It is hard to say for 100% certain just yet, as Garmin frequently registers smartwatches and biking accessories under similar generic titles. However, the timing is hard to ignore. The certification popped up right as the app code surfaced, meaning actual hardware is actively moving through the approval process for global distribution.

Whether Model A05293 becomes the CIRQA Smart Band Pro or another unreleased tracker, one thing is clear: Garmin isn’t standing still with its screenless wearables.
If the app teardowns are any indication, the CIRQA Smart Band Pro will offer a much more interactive, audio-guided experience for users who want deep tracking without a display on their wrist.
